I am not a fashion designer. Not yet, I suppose.
I sew because I like the process. I like creating things from scratch. That's why I like drafting my own patterns as well.
I did not study any of this, just self-taught everything I know and can do.
I thank Mary Austin for giving me a sewing machine for birthday. She knew!!!
I thank Christine Ball for giving me a serger for birthday. I appreciate the gesture!
I thank my wife Maya for putting up with me, and allowing me to sew for her. Please like what I do ;-)
I thank my kids James and Alexei for occasionally allowing me to make a mess in their playroom/my sewing studio. I love you very much!
